Zachary P. Roseman is a Consulting Manager at Hoffman Clark LLC, an integrated certified public accounting and consulting firm specializing in business, intellectual property, and financial advisory services. Mr. Roseman has extensive experience in accounting and valuation matters, including valuation of business entities and intangible assets. He has performed valuations and valuation services in matters arising from litigation, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, and tax compliance, and has experience valuing intellectual property assets, including patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyrights.

He has worked with the quantification of damages and remedies in commercial and intellectual property disputes, including analyses of lost profits, unjust enrichment, lost earnings capacity, class action claims, reasonable royalties, and loss or diminution of business value. His range of experience extends to tax and financial reporting requirements, forensic investigations, business evaluation and strategy, corporate finance, and class action administration.

Mr. Roseman has served as an expert witness in U.S. Federal Court and State Court.

Mr. Roseman is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the State of Missouri. He has also received the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) certification from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) and was recognized as a 2024 honoree of the “30 Under Thirty” designation from the NACVA.

Mr. Roseman is a graduate of Westminster College where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting.

  • Damages analyses in patent infringement litigation, including assessment of lost profits, disgorgement of profits, and reasonable royalty damages, involving a variety of technologies, including food and beverage containers, biotechnology, electronic voting systems, commercial sign and lighting products, barbecue grill technology, fuel can technology, and bank card personalization systems.
  • Evaluation of damages related to litigation involving trademarks, trade dress, trade secrets, copyrights, and other intellectual property assets.
  • Expert financial support for other litigation matters, including breach of contract, fraud, and class action matters in a variety of industries, including computer software, moving and transportation, chemical manufacturing and production, healthcare, energy, and telecommunications.
  • Assessment of damages in personal injury and wrongful death cases, including evaluation of lost earnings, future care costs, and loss of household services.
  • Forensic investigations and consulting engagements for businesses and municipalities, such as a forensic audit of the financial management of the construction of a community recreation complex.
  • Valuations and calculations of value for gift tax compliance, succession planning, and business interest transactions for at least the following business types: Construction, Specialty Parts Manufacturing, Painting and Drywall, Protective Industrial Coatings, Media and Marketing, Bio-based Asphalt Technology, Specialty Athletic and School Equipment Provider, Heating and Cooling, Automobile Rental, and Healthcare Related Companies.
  • Valuation consulting for mergers and acquisitions, including advisory services for buyers and sellers, contemplated sales of 100% ownership and minority ownership interests, and assistance with strategic and effective communications with prospective buyers/sellers.
